Description
Riding the elevator to the observation tower of Hallgrimskirkja, is well worth the small fee and effort. Once to the top of this beautiful church, one is treated to magnificent views over all of Reykjavik. The observation deck has windows on all sides so you are able to look over the capital of Iceland in all directions. The colorful rooftops of the downtown area complement the blue waters of Faxafloi Bay and the colorful Mt. Esja.
