Garden of the Gods is a strikingly beautiful public park located on the outskirts of Colorado Springs. The park was made by the deposition of sediments made by ancient seas. The deposits were made horizontally but were forced up by the the tectonic events that formed the Rocky Mountains. Rock climbing, hiking, horseback riding,and mountain biking are a few of the activities that people enjoy in this park. It is definitely a must see park when visiting the Colorado Springs area.
