Description
The Navesink Twin Lights is a non-functioning lighthouse located in the Atlantic Highland of New Jersey. The current lighthouse was built in 1862 and is the second lighthouse that was at this sight. One tower was a fixed light and one tower was a flashing light and provided at beacon and navigational aid to ships navigating Sandy Hook Bay and treacherous entrances to New York Harbor.
