Description
I captured this beautiful osprey as it came in for a landing at its nest in Maurice River Township, NJ. Osprey, Pandion haliaetus, live and nest near bodies of water as their main diet consists of fish. These large raptors are a common sight around New Jersey coastal regions in the spring and summer. They migrate south for the winter months.
