Artist's Description
I came across this interesting service station by chance in my travels across the great state of New Jersey. I was traveling down Rt. 40 in Salem County. Route 40 still has many old iconic places along its path although many have been torn down and others are endangered. This property was for sale. I hope a new owner can be found to keep it looking as pristine as it does now. An old 1948-1950 Ford Tow Truck is sitting outside this station. This place truly looks like a time capsule of a bygone era.
About Kristia Adams
I am a photographer located in the heart of the New Jersey Pine Barrens. I have had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. My first camera, which I received for my 11th birthday, was a little Kodak that took the 110 film cartridges. I used all my allowance money for film and processing. I have upgraded my camera a few times since those days and now I enjoy wandering my great state (and places beyond) photographing places that may not be here forever. I specialize in nature and landscape photography.
