Traveling the Ring Road or Route 1 in southern Iceland, one can see many waterfalls flowing from the mountains. These are not the famous tourist attractions that one may visit up close, but they are just as amazingly gorgeous and breathtaking when you happen to see them while driving. They are just one of the reasons to take a drive for yourself along the Ring Road. You never know what you will find over that next hill!
