Artist's Description
The town of Atsion was once a thriving industrial town, one of many that dotted the landscape within the NJ Pine Barrens. The Atsion Mansion was once the summer home of the Richard's family who's primary home was in Philadelphia. Under the Richards family, Atsion was home to a iron furnace, 3 gristmills, a church, a school, a company store, workers' homes and the mansion. Visitors can walk the grounds of Atsion and see the remains of several buildings. The mansion is open for tours on some weekends.

I am a photographer located in the heart of the New Jersey Pine Barrens. I have had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. My first camera, which I received for my 11th birthday, was a little Kodak that took the 110 film cartridges. I used all my allowance money for film and processing. I have upgraded my camera a few times since those days and now I enjoy wandering my great state (and places beyond) photographing places that may not be here forever. I specialize in nature and landscape photography.
