Splendid! Some of the frames show a bit of image still. Great capture to record this history.

Thanks! I need to research which movie is in on the film!

Artist's Description

I was recently able to shoot at the beautiful Lansdowne Theater in Lansdowne, PA. The theater is currently closed but the owner is currently trying to rehab the space and allowed a photo workshop in to raise money to benefit the theater. This theater is a gem of a bygone era with many great architectural features. This was shot in the film room where old film and film canisters still lie forgotten. After a closer look, I discovered that the movie on the reel is the 1966 Academy Award Winning movie Grand Prix starring James Garner and Eva Marie Saint.

About Kristia Adams

Kristia Adams

I am a photographer located in the heart of the New Jersey Pine Barrens. I have had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. My first camera, which I received for my 11th birthday, was a little Kodak that took the 110 film cartridges. I used all my allowance money for film and processing. I have upgraded my camera a few times since those days and now I enjoy wandering my great state (and places beyond) photographing places that may not be here forever. I specialize in nature and landscape photography.
