Captured this sundog rainbow over the horse barn at Batsto Village on a beautiful fall morning. We were a bit disappointed to not have mist this morning but disappointment faded after have a beautiful sky!
This beautiful barn is located at historic Batsto Village with in the Wharton State Park in Burlington County, NJ. An ironworks was located here which manufactured supplies for the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War. The tract of land was latter bought by Joseph Wharton to be used in farming, timber and other business pursuits. The village is home to many restored buildings that are open for public viewing.
I am a photographer located in the heart of the New Jersey Pine Barrens. I have had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. My first camera, which I received for my 11th birthday, was a little Kodak that took the 110 film cartridges. I used all my allowance money for film and processing. I have upgraded my camera a few times since those days and now I enjoy wandering my great state (and places beyond) photographing places that may not be here forever. I specialize in nature and landscape photography.
