Artist's Description

Fort Jefferson is part of Dry Tortugas National Park. This image was taken from the top of the fort looking towards the boat dock. You can see the Yankee Freedom boat and one of the sea plane on the beach. Dry Tortugas National Park is in the Gulf of Mexico, about 70 miles west of Key West, Florida. It comprises 7 islands, plus protected coral reefs. Garden Key is home to beaches and the 19th-century Fort Jefferson. It is the least visited National Park as it is only accessible by boat or seaplane. It is a must-see for nature and history buffs alike!

About Kristia Adams

Kristia Adams

I am a photographer located in the heart of the New Jersey Pine Barrens. I have had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. My first camera, which I received for my 11th birthday, was a little Kodak that took the 110 film cartridges. I used all my allowance money for film and processing. I have upgraded my camera a few times since those days and now I enjoy wandering my great state (and places beyond) photographing places that may not be here forever. I specialize in nature and landscape photography.
