The Ocean City Ninth Street Bridge marks the beginnings of a great vacation for many families each year. The new span replaced the older drawbridge. This new bridge has great walkways for running and biking and has striking views of all of Ocean City. At the bottom, in the evening, the wonderful lights make the bridge a sight to behold providing great reflections on the bay. The light colors can be changed to mark events and holidays. On this day the bridge was lit in green and red for the Christmas season. I captured this image from the bayside in Ocean City looking towards Somers Point. Located in Ocean City, NJ.
I am a photographer located in the heart of the New Jersey Pine Barrens. I have had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. My first camera, which I received for my 11th birthday, was a little Kodak that took the 110 film cartridges. I used all my allowance money for film and processing. I have upgraded my camera a few times since those days and now I enjoy wandering my great state (and places beyond) photographing places that may not be here forever. I specialize in nature and landscape photography.
