Description
This rock formation found at Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada forms a natural basin that collects rainwater during the sparse rainfalls in the region. The water lingers in the basin for a long while. The formation is known as Mouse's Tank and was named for an outlaw in the region that was able to hide out in the desert surviving on the water that persisted in the basin.
