Description
The beautiful Santa Monica carousel is housed inside the Historic National Landmark, Loof Hippodrome on the Santa Monica Pier. The building once house the a Looff Carousel which was dismantled and sold long ago but the carousel that calls the Hippodrome home is also a great historical piece. This one was built by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company in the 1920's. The Philadelphia Toboggan Company was know for their ornately decorated animals
