Artist's Description

Beams of light emanate from the Cape May Lighthouse late one evening. It was so clear, I even captured some stars.

The Cape May Lighthouse was built in 1859 and was the third lighthouse built in a Cape May location. The first two lighthouse locations are now underwater. The location is still operational and visitors may climb the 199 steps to the top for beautiful views of Cape May City and Wildwood to the north, Cape May Point to the south, and, on a clear day, Cape Henlopen, Delaware, to the west.

About Kristia Adams

Kristia Adams

I am a photographer located in the heart of the New Jersey Pine Barrens. I have had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. My first camera, which I received for my 11th birthday, was a little Kodak that took the 110 film cartridges. I used all my allowance money for film and processing. I have upgraded my camera a few times since those days and now I enjoy wandering my great state (and places beyond) photographing places that may not be here forever. I specialize in nature and landscape photography.
