Description
Buttermilk Falls near the abandoned town of Walpack, New Jersey. The falls lie within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation area but you can also access the falls by coming in through Stokes State Forest. The road to the falls is sometimes closed. If open (it is a rough ride), you can drive to the parking area located across the street from the falls. If closed, you may have to hike about a mile or more to see Buttermilk Falls.
